XAVIER School and St. Jude Catholic School scored big wins to arrange a title showdown in the Philippine Ching Yuen Athletic Association (PCYAA) 10th Anniversary Invitational Basketball Tournament.
The Golden Stallions came from behind to beat St. Stephen High School, 64-57, while the Green Knights beat PACE Academy, 80-72, in semifinal action at the UNO High School gym last Saturday.

Xavier and St. Jude will figure in a best-of-three championship series, with Game One set on Thursday at the UNO High School. Games Two is set Feb. 28. If necessary, Game Three will be held on March 4.
Bren Tiu had 22 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists, and six steals for the top-seed Golden Stallions, who built a 13-0 lead after trailing by eight points with eight minutes remaining in the game.
Andre Tan had 13 points as Xavier stayed undefeated in 11 games.
Kobe Chong had 24 points and 11 rebounds for the No. 2 St. Jude, which also got 24 points, five rebounds, five steals, and three assists from Ethan Kaw.
Chong scored the final eight points of the contest to secure the win for the Green Knights.
San Ng had 24 points for St. Stephen, while Axell Cue had 19 points and seven rebounds for PACE.
Chiang Kai Shek College, Philippine Cultural College, Jubilee Christian Academy, MGC-New Life Christian Academy, UNO High School, Grace Christian College, and Hope Christian High School also participated in the tournament supported by Milk Magic, Spalding, Vital Purified Drinking Water, and Nexgen Asia.
