THIRDY Ravena is blazing a new trail once again.
The longtime Japan B.League import will take his talent to Europe after signing with Dubai Basketball Club - the first Filipino to do it.

The former Ateneo star's transfer to Europe was made official by an announcement made by the Dubai-based club in its social media pages on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old signed a one-year contract with a player option on the second season.
Ravena parted ways with the San-En NeoPhoenix last May 2024, where he became the first Asian import of the league.
He welcomed the move with a two-word post on his social media accounts on Tuesday: "Hello Dubai"
BC Dubai is set to compete in the next season of the AdmiralBet ABA League, which mostly features club teams from nations in the former Yugoslavia.
Thirdy becomes the third Filipino to land himself a place in the European stage following Juan Gomez de Liano's stint with Lithuania's BC Wolves in the European North Basketball League, and Jack Animam's club stint in Serbia, in 2021.
