HIROSHIMA Dragonflies ended San Miguel Beer’s bid for a Final Four spot in the East Asian Super League (EASL) Home and Away Season 2, thrashing the Beermen on Wednesday night, 94-63, at the Hiroshima Sun Plaza.
Keijiro Mitani and Nick Mayo bombed from the outside to finish with 18 points each, while import Kerry Blackshear Jr came an assist short of a triple double (12 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists) in the blowout win that formally booted out the Beermen out of the running for a semifinals berth.

The reigning B.League champion raised its record to 4-1 and clinched the first Final Four ticket in Group A.
Torren Jones finished with a game-high 24 points and 13 rebounds as the lone import of San Miguel as Jabari Narcis didn’t join the team in the trip to Hiroshima.
The Beermen tumbled to a 0-4 record at the bottom of the same group.
June Mar Fajardo was the only other Beermen in double figures with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Juami Tiongson added nine.
The Dragonflies hardly got resistance from the PBA side as it raced to an early 30-18 lead the first quarter from where the Beermen never recovered.
The B.League team rained the opposition with 14 three pointers including four from Mayo, and three each from Mitani and Ryo Yamazaki.
