SAN Miguel suited up with just Torren Jones as import in its East Asia Super League (EASL) Home and Away showdown with Hiroshima Dragonflies on Wednesday night in Japan.
EASL officials confirmed Jabari Narcis didn’t join the team in its trip from Manila, raising speculations whether he’ll stay on as the Beermen’s import in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Narcis have yet to give San Miguel a win in the two PBA games he played against Eastern and Barangay Ginebra since taking over the place of Jones.

His absence from the game against the Dragonflies, reigning B.League champions, was a big blow to San Miguel, which bowed out of the race for a Final Four berth in Group A after a 94-63 loss.
The Beermen are at the bottom of the standings with a 0-4 record.
San Miguel opted to enter just a 10-man lineup as Rodney Brondial, Don Trollano, Simon Enciso, and Kris Rosales also were not part of the travelling party.
With only Jones as import, the Beermen trailed early on, 52-37, at the end of the first half at the Hiroshima Sun Plaza.
