SOPHOMORE big Zav Lucero sat out Magnolia’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup game against TNT owing to a knee issue.
The 6-foot-7 Lucero is nursing a jumper’s knee, according to the Hotshots’ physical therapist, and is listed as day-to-day.

He showed up in street clothes at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium and watched the game against the Tropang Giga from the bench.
Lucero added to the injury woes of the struggling Hotshots, who are off to a 1-2 start heading to their outing against the winless Tropang Giga.
Also still out for Magnolia is seasoned guard Paul Lee, out with a rib contusion which he suffered after colliding with Converge import Cheick Diallo.
Lee missed out the last two games of the team against Northport and TNT, respectively.
