PAUL Lee is on day-to-day status for Magnolia after suffering a rib contusion in the team’s previous outing in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The veteran guard missed out on the Hotshots’ 107-103 loss to Northport Wednesday night as he watched the game on the sidelines of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in street clothes.
He couldn’t say for certain when he’s going to get back in action for a Magnolia side which suffered a second straight loss in three days.
“Day to day ako. Depende sa pag subside ng swelling tsaka yung pain na nararamdaman ko Kasi meron akong galaw na nahihirapan ako,” said Lee.

The University of the East star suffered the injury when he set up a pick against Converge import Cheick Diallo, who at 6-foot-8 and 220 pounds has an eight-inch height advantage and 30 pounds heavier than the Magnolia guard.
“Sinagasaan ako,” said Lee. “So medyo limited yung movement ko and masakit siya kapag gumagalaw ako.”
Since hurting his rib, Lee hasn’t practiced with the Hotshots.
“After ng game namin sa Converge, any activity wala akong ginagawa,” he said.
Lee could just shrugged off his shoulders when asked about Magnolia losing a second straight game after the Converge setback, where the Hotshots lost a 20-point lead.
“Back to the drawing boards and keep trying,” offered Lee. “Get better the following game, yun lang naman ang puwedeng gawin dun.
“Prepare for the next game and learn from this game.”
