HIGH-flying Fil-Am Tyrus Hill is trying out for a roster spot with Rain or Shine for the coming Season 50 of the PBA.
The 29-year-old Hill has been joining the Elasto Painters since the team began training last week for the new season.
Hill was placed by Blackwater on the unrestricted free agent list in the latter part of last season's Philippine Cup.

Rain or Shine deputy coach Caloy Garcia confirmed that the 6-foot-6 Hill is trying out with the Elasto Painters, who let go of sophomore Francis Escandor and Mark Borboran in this offseason
But he said the team can't decide the fate of the former De La Salle stalwart until after the Rookie Draft.
The Elasto Painters own two late first-round picks in the September 7 draft.

"As of now we're looking at the draftees pa," said Garcia.
Hill was a first-round pick at No. 7 overall by NLEX in the Season 47 draft.
But he never got to suit up for the Road Warriors as his rights along with that of David Murrell were sent to Converge in a trade for a first-round pick.
But he didn't last a season with the FiberXers.
Just before Season 47 concluded, he was shipped by Converge along with RK Ilagan and Mike Digregorio to Blackwater for big man Barkley Ebona and a first-round pick.
Hill played in only eight games in his final season with the Bossing.
