BARANGAY Ginebra laid down the red carpet for new acquisition Troy Rosario.
The veteran power forward was signed to a three-year deal by the Kings, according to SPIN.ph sources, after winning the bidding war for the unrestricted free agent.
This explains Rosario’s name already officially listed as part of the team’s roster for the mid-season PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

“Siyempre hindi naman siya (Troy) ila-lineup kung hindi pa siya nakapirma,” said one of the sources.
Rosario also posted on his social media account a photo of him shaking hands with San Miguel Corp. (SMC) sports director Alfrancis Chua, which he captioned with ‘Dream Do Come True,’ while also expressing his gratitude to the SMC top executive, who is also the team governor of Barangay Ginebra.
It’s no secret that Rosario and his family are avid supporters of Barangay Ginebra ever since.
Although figures weren't released, sources revealed the worth of Rosario's three-year package at Ginebra is significantly lower than those offered by Converge, Blackwater, and TNT to the unrestricted free agent.

Rosario though has yet to practice with the Kings as coach Tim Cone and his staff had just wrapped up work with Gilas Pilipinas in the second window of the FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers.
Barangay Ginebra won’t be playing its first game until Dec. 11 when it takes on NLEX at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
