THERE’S more to Christian Standhardinger than his boundless energy and unconventional style of play in the basketball court.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft showed his techie side when he launched his personal vlog on Saturday.
In the debut of his vlog series on his YouTube channel, the 6-foot-7 Standhardinger chronicled his journey from Hong Kong to Manila to attend the PBA Draft last October 29.
He was selected No. 1 by the San Miguel Beermen, but will only suit up for the powerhouse team midway through the Commissioner's Cup due to his contract with Hong Kong Eastern Sports Club in the ABL.
His committment to the Beermen, though, was cemented as the 12-minute video showed him signing a contract with the decorated franchise.
"I just signed the contract with San Miguel. Now it's official," he said in the video where he is sitting beside team manager Gee Abanilla.
The Fil-German ended the video by promising fans he will produce more videos of his basketball journey.
For now, the 28-year-old slotman is hell-bent on helping Hong Kong retain the title in the ABL.
"There's much more to come on our way. I'm gonna take you with me. I'll see you guys in the next video," he said.
