RAIN or Shine is not about to compromise the health of one of its most trusted and loyal players.
The Elasto Painters relegated evergreen Beau Belga to the Unrestricted Free Agent list (with rights to salary) as the veteran big man has been dealing with health issues recently.

Activated to take the spot of the 38-year-old Belga in the regular roster is Nick Demusis, who will be eligible to play in the team’s PBA Philippine Cup game against Phoenix on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena.
Belga felt dizzy and went down on his own during the latter part of the second quarter of the Elasto Painters’ outing against TNT Tropang 5G last week.
He never returned to the court and was later seen being assisted by team staff on his way out of the Ynares Center in Antipolo following the 111-103 loss.
Coach Yeng Guiao said Belga has been given the go-signal to play by doctors despite his recent bout with vertigo and astigmatism that requires him to wear goggles while playing.
But management and coaching staff deemed it best for the Gubat, Sorsogon native to take a rest from playing at the moment.
Belga is the third veteran to be placed in the UFAWR2RS list in the last four weeks after LA Tenorio of Barangay Ginebra and TNT’s Jayson Castro.
The move was made with the understanding all players wouldn’t sign with other teams while in the Unrestricted Free Agent list.
The loss to the Tropang 5G snapped Rain or Shine’s two-game win streak for a 4-3 record in a tie for fifth place with its tormentor.
