ROBERT Bolick truly missed playing the game.

On the eve of his return to the playing court, the NorthPort sophomore couldn’t help but feel enthusiastic after being out of action for almost a year following an ACL injury.

Bolick posted on his Twitter account how thrilled he is to finally rejoin the Batang Pier on the court.

“First practice tomorrow (Thursday). Man! After 10 months woow,” said the NorthPort guard, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2018 PBA draft.

“Maka hawak na ako ng bola,” added Bolick, who admitted having sleepless nights thinking about it.

Bolick incidentally, was put in the same group as Jonathan Grey, according to team manager Bonnie Tan.

Like Bolick, Grey is coming off an injury after tearing his right patellar tendon during a NorthPort practice last year. He is also working out with the team for the first time since going down with the injury last June.

Bolick, a former San Beda star, went down with an ACL injury in NorthPort’s game against San Miguel Beer during last year’s Governors Cup, putting to waste a very impressive rookie season that saw him lead the Batang Pier to the playoffs and served as one of the key players in Gilas Pilipinas’ stint in the Fiba World Cup.

If not for the injury, Bolick would have definitely played big in the Batang Pier’s playoff campaign in the season’s final conference where the team made it deep as far as the semifinals.

He could have likewise given No. 1 overall pick CJ Perez a run for his money in the race for the Rookie of the Year award.
