The Ginebra rookie scored 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting to go with one rebound, three assists and two steals in 33:38 minutes in the loss that sent the best-of-three quarterfinal to a sudden-death Game 3 on Sunday.
However, he missed a four-point attempt in the endgame that could've sent the game into extra time.
Following the awareness post are screenshots of comments left on his and his partner’s social media posts.
One netizen posted successive comments threatening to gun down Abarrientos and his partner, who are both prominent personalities on social media.

“Naglalaro kami nang maayos, at trabaho naming ‘to, parte ng basketball ang matalo. Sa mga kapwa kong players di dapat tinotolerate ‘yung ganito.”
