REDEN Celda has found a new team in NLEX.
Road Warriors team representative Ronald Dulatre confirmed Celda is now part of the team, though on whether he will play or not on Saturday will be the call of new head coach Frankie Lim.
NLEX has picked up Celda from the free agent market after his contract expired with Terrafirma. Prior to the end of his contract, Celda was one of the longest tenured players of the Dyip, having played for them since 2016.

Incidentally, Celda has returned to the team that drafted him eighth overall in the second round in 2016. His stay at NLEX didn’t last as he, Rob Reyes, and Jeckster Apinan were dealt to Mahindra in exchange for Bradwyn Guinto and Chito Jaime.
Dulatre said Lim invited Celda to take part in NLEX practices for a possible spot due to injuries.
“Some of our guards are still recovering from injuries,” said Dulatre, who added Philip Paniamogan is one of those players who are still unable to suit up.
During the 2021-2022 season, Celda only played 12 games and averaged 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists for the Dyip.
NLEX will play Phoenix on Saturday with Lim finally calling the shots after serving a one-game suspension during a 2015 incident with Calvin Abueva when he was still the head coach of Barangay Ginebra.
While he was away from the PBA, Celda suited up for Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines in the ongoing MPBL season.
