JEREMIAH Gray made a surprise appearance in a Barangay Ginebra game on Friday night, four months after going down with an ACL injury.
The 27-year-old Gray headed straight to the court upon arriving at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, and shook hands with the rest of the Kings who by then were already warming up for their game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
WATCH:
It was the first public appearance for Gray since suffering a harrowing injury during the final playdate of the PBA On Tour last July against NLEX.
Other than the ACL tear, the Fil-Am guard was also diagnosed with tears on his PCL (posterior cruciate), and MCL (medial collateral) on his right knee.
He successfully underwent surgery last August but will definitely be out for the entire season as he rehabilitates and recovers from his second serious knee injury.
Gray previously also suffered an ACL while still playing for TNT in the PBA 3x3.

Despite recovering from his operation, Gray was picked No. 2 overall by Terrafirma in the Season 47 rookie draft, only to be traded to Ginebra a few days later.
He missed the entire Philippine Cup for the Kings last season, but eventually suited up and won his first league championship during the Commissioner’s Cup.
