QUINCY Miller ultimately got the green light to be TNT's interim import for the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Coach Jojo Lastimosa disclosed the 6-foot-8 Miller is suiting up for the Tropang Giga against the Magnolia Hotshots in the opener of import-laden meet on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Thanks in large to the decision of Converge management to finally release its rights on the former NBA player and pave way for his return in Asia's pioneering pro league.
"Yes, just now," was Lastimosa's curt reply when asked about the subsequent release of Miller by the FiberXers.
For a while, the Tropang Giga were left in a quandary after they had to look for a sudden interim replacement for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who suffered gastroenteritis last week and won't be healthy enough to play in the early part of the team's campaign.
The franchise initially thought of fielding Miller, who plays for TNT as its other import in the EASL Home and Away season.
But Converge still holds the rights on the 30-year-old import, who played for the team in last season's Commissioner's Cup.
That was until the FiberXers decided to let go of Miller and allow him to play for the Tropang Giga.
