PBA approves Stanley Pringle to Ginebra trade
Jun 18, 2019

THE PBA has approved the trade that sent Stanley Pringle from NorthPort to Barangay Ginebra.

Pringle found himself joining the league's most popular team in exchange of Sol Mercado, Jervy Cruz, and Kevin Ferrer on Tuesday, giving the Kings another major weapon on offense.

Earlier reports said Pringle was to go to Ginebra along with a NorthPort first-round pick which was taken out of the equation in the version approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office.

Pringle has been out of action for some time as he is still recovering from surgery to remove bone spurs in his right ankle.

But he is expected to be a major boost for the Gin Kings once healthy as he joins LA Tenorio and Scottie Thompson in an exciting backcourt.

He is the second acquisition for Ginebra in weeks after Jared Dillinger, who was acquired from Meralco's unrestricted free agent list.

The Batang Pier, meanwhile, got several pieces as they look to maintain their 5-1 win-loss record with the core of Sean Anthony, Mo Tautuaa, and Robert Bolick.
