AS if going great guns in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup isn’t enough, valuable help is even coming for conference leader TNT.
The Tropang 5G finally activated veteran big man Poy Erram on Saturday, making him eligible to play in the team’s next game against Rain or Shine in Cagayan De Oro City this weekend.

Erram, earlier reported to have suffered an ACL injury, was supposed to play against the Magnolia Hotshots last Sunday.
“He was activated Saturday and Magnolia dapat ang target niya,” said team manager Jojo Lastimosa.
Unfortunately, the marquee showdown between two of the league’s top contenders at the Ynares Center in Montalban, was postponed due to the threat of super-typhoon Uwan.
The 6-foot-8 Erram has not played competitive ball since Game 4 of last season’s Philippine Cup Finals after going down with a meniscus tear.

Shortly after the title series which the Tropang 5G lost – along with their bid for a grand slam – Erram announced he suffered an ACL injury and was scheduled for surgery in the offseason.
Or so thought the TNT big man.
It turned out the ACL injury wasn’t a full tear, according to TNT strength and conditioning coach Dexter Aseron.
Erram’s return comes amid TNT’s four-game winning streak that allowed it to claim the top spot in the standings with a 5-1 record.
The last of those wins came last weekend when TNT needed an extra period to turn back the upset-conscious Terrafirma Dyip, 109-95.
Erram boosts an already formidable frontcourt that includes Kelly Williams, Brandon Ganuela-Rosser, and the improving Henry Galinato.
