PHOENIX faces the prospect of playing without an import against Rain or Shine on Friday after new reinforcement Le’ Bryan Nash was found to be beyond the PBA Governors’ Cup height limit for imports.

The 32-year-old Nash, who was brought in to replace Jay McKinnis, was measured at 6-foot-6 and 3/8 on Thursday.

The season-opening conference has a 6-foot-6 height limit for imports.

McKinnis is still in the country, but unfortunately couldn't be reactivated by the Fuel Masters since he has not been relegated by the team to the reserve list.

The 24-year-old McKinnis averaged 14.0 points and 14.5 rebounds in the two games he played for the Fuel Masters against San Miguel Beer and NLEX, both of which they lost.
