CALVIN Abueva has been summoned by the PBA Commissioner’s Office after flashing a dirty finger in an act caught on live television, on Sunday.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said he will speak to Abueva to get his side on Wednesday.
During the late stage of the first quarter of Magnolia’s game against Barangay Ginebra, Abueva flashed the dirty finger that appeared to be directed toward a person at ringside following a stoppage of play where he got hurt in a collision with Nards Pinto.

Abueva is facing a fine for his action, based on similar incidents in the past.
The most recent one involved Rain or Shine head coach Yeng Guiao during his spat with former TNT import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at the back of the Elasto Painters bench during their Commissioner’s Cup game last January.
Guiao was made to pay P10,000 for his action.
Abueva was just two months removed from being fined P100,000 for mocking San Miguel coach Jorge Gallent in Game Two of the Commissioner’s Cup finals last February.
A stern warning was also given to Abueva and San Miguel’s Mo Tautuaa for their argument after Game Two at the Mall of Asia Arena hallway.
