SAN Miguel and TNT clash in a battle of top teams in the 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup at the Philsports Arena.
The Beermen square off with the Tropang Giga at 6:45 p.m. with both teams sporting 7-1 win-loss records.

Both teams have already sealed a place in the quarterfinals and now go for the twice-to-beat advantage for the squads that will finish in the top four.
San Miguel coach Jorge Gallent said the goal is to win each game that is in front of them.

The Beermen are coming off a 102-99 win over Barangay Ginebra, revitalizing talk about re-capturing a PBA crown following their playoff exit against the Bay Area Dragons in the Commissioner’s Cup.
“One game at a time. That title thing is there, but we have to achieve a lot of things before getting there,” said Gallent.
TNT, on the other hand, is the hottest team in the league, having won five straight contests including a 111-104 win over Meralco last Friday.
“I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a big challenge, knowing that San Miguel is really playing well. We just have to be ready and I think the guys are ready,” said TNT coach Jojo Lastimosa.
In the first game, Barangay Ginebra is looking to end a two-game losing skid when it faces off against Blackwater at 4:30 p.m.
After a strong start to their campaign, the Gin Kings have dropped to 3-2 after their defeat against San Miguel last Friday.
They will take on Blackwater, which once again switched imports by bringing back Shawn Glover in lieu of Troy Williams, who failed to deliver victories for the Bossing in his stint with the ballclub.
The Bossing are on a five-game losing streak and at 1-6, just ahead of winless NorthPort (0-6).
