THE PBA on Tour holds its college campus game on Wednesday with University of Santo Tomas serving as host.

The event serves as a homecoming for a couple of former Tigers.

Aljon Mariano and Allein Maliksi look to lead their respective teams to victory in the second game of the doubleheader as Barangay Ginebra faces Meralco at 7:30 p.m. at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

NorthPort takes on NLEX in the first match at 5 p.m., with UST coach Pido Jarencio also expected to make an appearance being the concurrent Batang Pier team manager.

Unlike other PBA on Tour games at the Ynares Sports Arena, Ynares Center, and Filoil Flying V Centre, tickets will be sold for the double-header with the proceeds going to the school's programs for student athletes.

Tickets priced at P450, P350, and P250 are available at UST’s Institute of Physical Education and Athletics Office until supplies last.

The second game will headline two of a number of former Growling Tigers still active in the PBA.

Mariano suited up for Santo Tomas from 2009 to 2014, reaching the UAAP finals twice in Tigers teams coached by Jarencio before being drafted by Barangay Ginebra in the second round the following year.

Maliksi, on the other hand, suited up for just one season with the Growling Tigers, but the stint with the Espana-based squad was his biggest break after his stay as a criminology student at University of Manila.

Jarencio, on the other hand, returned as head coach of UST 17 years since leading the Growling Tigers to the 2006 UAAP title.

During his playing days, Jarencio was a prolific scorer for the Glowing Goldies, collecting 48 points in a shootout with University of the East’s Allan Caidic, who had 46 points. It was Caidic’s team, however, who captured the championship.
