NLEX trades Brandon Rosser to Blackwater for Ular, Taha, first-round pick

NLEX is sending Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser back to Blackwater in a trade, pending the approval of the PBA Commissioner's Office.

The Road Warriors said it has submitted the documents to the leaguefor a trade where they'll be sending Ganuelas-Rosser to the Bossing in exchange for Ato Ular, Yousef Taha, and their Season 51 first-round draft pick.

Barring any other moves, Ganuelas-Rosser is set to return to the ballclub that drafted him once the trade is approved.

Blackwater made Ganuelas-Rosser the top pick overall in the PBA Season 47 draft before he was traded on September 22 to Blackwater as part of the deal that sent Calvin Oftana to TNT and Troy Rosario to Bossing.

    NLEX team governor Ronald Dulatre thanked Ganuelas-Rosser for his contributions to the team.

    Blackwater has been busy during the offseason with Ganuelas-Rosser joining fellow newly-acquired players Rey Nambatac and James Yap, taken from Rain or Shine in separate deals.

    For NLEX, it receives another player from Blackwater after signing free agent Baser Amer during the offseason.

    Ironically, Ular was in the same draft class as Ganuelas-Rosser when he was picked first in the second round. The two were part of the All-Rookie Team for Season 47.

    Taha has been out of the Blackwater line-up due to an injury, and is set to join his ninth team in a journeyman PBA career.
