NLEX appeared to have had enough of Thomas Robinson.
The Road Warriors decided to part ways with the explosive but eccentric import almost a week after he figured in a shouting match with Northport team manager Pido Jarencio.

Robinson, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, was told about the decision of management upon arriving from a five-day vacation in Palawan and Boracay.

He'll leave behind an NLEX team which he guided to an even 2-2 record in a campaign rocked by issues, the latest of which was his verbal spat with Jarencio and NorthPort team governor Eric Arejola in the team's 112-104 win over Northport last Wednesday.
The shouting match that began on the court and spilled into the hallway of the Smart Araneta Coliseum after the game had both parties exchanging expletives and verbal threats.
Both Jarencio and Robinson were supposed to be summoned the morning after, but the import left early for his family's trip to Palawan. Now it remains to be seen if Robinson will still be summoned after his exit from NLEX.
