NLEX and Converge both own 5-2 win-loss records and share third place. The Road Warriors beat the FiberXers, 116-112, last Saturday.
It was the first win for NLEX with import Wayne Selden Jr., who took over from Jonathon Simmons after four games.
NLEX coach Frankie Lim hopes to continue winning amidst an injury bug with the team, using a short rotation against Converge.
“Ibang effort ‘yung ginawa nila. Malaking bagay kasi ‘yung nagkulang ‘yung players ko because of the injuries. Pati ‘yung rotation ko nasira,” said Lim.

Converge coach Aldin Ayo said a big reason for its loss against NLEX was their turnovers which they hope to limit against Blackwater this time.
“We had 31 turnovers. That was the story of the game. NLEX had a good job covering Jamaal and we were predictable after. Bad decision making especially nung last stretch. Lamang kami but we didn’t take care of the ball,” said Ayo.
Meralco is out to snap a two-game losing streak after it lost to TNT, 111-104, last Friday.
Blackwater is now at the bottom of the team standings with a 1-7 win-loss record after dropping six straight games entering the contest against Converge.
