NLEX said Jong Uichico will continue to be its head coach in the lead-up to the PBA Commissioner's Cup, but confirmed his top deputy Siot Tanquingcen's departure.
The Road Warriors released the statement on Wednesday after a SPIN.ph report, quoting sources, that Josh Reyes is set to take charge of the remaining title-less team among the three ballclubs under the MVP umbrella.

NLEX also confirmed that the team and Tanquingcen have 'mutually agreed not to extend his initial contact.'
In his place, Borgie Hermida has been promoted to first assistant coach.
SPIN.ph on Wednesday reported that Reyes will be elevated to the NLEX head coaching position in the near future.
Such a move will mark the first time a father and his son will coach against each other in the pro league's 50-year history.
Tanquingcen has won three PBA championships with San Miguel and Ginebra, and won three more with Uichico. He joined NLEX last November.
"Coach Siot was an integral part of the Road Warriors' coaching staff, bringing professionalism, strong basketball acumen, and a genuine commitment to player development. Despite his short tenure, his contributions had a lasting and meaningful impact on both the team and the overall program," the team said.
