REY Nambatac joined the walking wounded list of TNT in the PBA Governors’ Cup.
The veteran guard hurt his right shoulder the last time and didn’t suit up in the Tropang Giga’s game against the Magnolia Hotshots on Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
“Tinamaan nung last game namin. Nabangga ni (Allen) Durham,” said Nambatac, who showed up in street clothes as he sat on the far end of the TNT bench.
He added there’s no definite timeline for his return.
“Day to day ako ngayon,”Nambatac added.
The guard out of Letran is the latest Tropang Giga sidelined this conference along with big men Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Henry Galinato.

Nambatac has started in six of TNT’s last seven games prior to meeting Magnolia and averaged 11.5 points as the third leading scorer of the team, while adding 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
The Tropang Giga, who acquired Nambatac in the offseason for the duo of Kib Montalbo and Jewel Ponferada, have already earned a berth in the playoffs.
