MIKE Nieto is staying with TNT after signing a one-year extension, the ballclub and his representative Titan Management Group confirmed.
Nieto joined the Tropang 5G last July after becoming an unrestricted free agent when he was released by Converge.
Nieto, the fifth pick overall by Rain or Shine in the 2019 special draft before he was traded to Converge in May 2023, played for two games in the elimination round and averaged 4.0 points and 4.5 rebounds.
TNT continues to build the squad that came one title short of a grand slam last season.

The Tropang 5G also acquired unrestricted free agent Kevin Ferrer, who signed a one-year contract with the team after being left unsigned by Terrafirma.
Present during the contract signing are TNT team manager Jojo Lastimosa and PJ Pilares of TMG.
