    MAGNOLIA tries to formalize its entry into the quarterfinals when it faces San Miguel on Wednesday in the PBA 47th Season Commissioner's Cup at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

    The Chicken Timplados Hotshots, on top of the standings with a 7-1 win-loss record, go up against the Beermen at 5:45 p.m. .

    A win by Magnolia will enable the Hotshots to join the Bay Area Dragons and Converge as the early quarterfinalists in the conference.
