A STRONG leak from the roof of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium cause a delay in the PBA Governors Cup game between Magnolia and Meralco, Friday night.
The match was stopped prior to the start of the fourth period after heavy rain caused a leak in the venue, renderring the court unplayable due to safety issues.
The Hotshots were leading the Bolts, 71-70, when the game was stopped.

After a 40-minute lull in which both teams did shooting warm up, the game resumed and Magnolia went on a 34-point rampage in the final quarter to score a 105-88 win against Meralco.
Commissioner Willie Marcial later said the halted game was given a one hour grace period before ordering action to resume.
But if the leaking roof continued amid the heavy rain, the match will be postponed for a later date.
"August 16 sana," said Marcial on when the game would have been rescheduled had it failed to resume later on.
The league is on a break on the said date as it gives way to Gilas Pilipinas' preparation for the second round of the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
In such case, the score remains and the contest starts on the time when it was postponed.
"So 71-70 ang score and yung fourth quarter na lang ang ilalaro kung hindi natuloy yung game on the same night," said Marcial.
