JUSTIN Arana isn't concerned about the injury that he sustained in the final game of Converge in the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup on Saturday.
Arana went hobbling back to the bench during the third quarter of the FiberXers' 136-122 win over Blackwater. He landed awkwardly on his left foot after going for a layup at the 7:46 mark of the third quarter and never returned.

But Arana said the initial prognosis isnot worriying.
“Pangit lang ng pag-land ko. Chineck ng doctor yun. Achilles strain lang naman siya. Kailangan ko lang i-rest totally ng mga two weeks,” said Arana.
“Naramdaman ko nung pag-land ko. Pangit yung pagka-land ko. May MRI ako pero sabi naman yun ng team doctor na Achilles strain lang,” said Arana.
Arana got injured on the same day that reports came out that the Converge big man is set to be called up by Gilas Pilipinas in the coming window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
Arana was interviewed prior to the reports about Gilas came out. But he will have enough time to recover as Converge has already bowed out of contention for a quarterfinal slot after finishing at ninth place with a 5-7 win-loss record.
“Isa sa mga positive ay nanalo kami sa last game namin kahit hindi kami nakapasok sa playoffs. At least, natapos yung campaign namin sa Commissioner's Cup na panalo na kaya naming dalhin next conference,” said Arana.
“Kailangan talaga naming magtrabaho as a team. Kailangan naming i-develop ang chemistry namin at maturity ng bawat isa sa amin para at least next conference, maiangat natin yung team natin,” he added.
