The great Ramon Fernandez still holds the all-time record with 8,652 followed by another legendary big man in Abet Guidaben with 8,570.
The 72-year-old Fernandez watched the match from courtside of the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday night as the Finals MVP handed out by the PBA Press Corps was named in his honor.

Fittingly enough, 'El Presidente' handed the first Finals MVP trophy named in his honor to his former student Fajardo, who had 29 points and 23 rebounds in the title-clinching 92-77 win over TNT in Game Six.
Fajardo's total rebounds now stand at 7,040.
