QUIETLY, JL Delos Santos found his way back to the PBA and earned a roster spot at Phoenix.
Phoenix's signing of the point guard out of Jose Rizal University reunited him with coach Charles Tiu after the two previously worked together at Converge.
He’s been listed as the 14th player in the Fuel Masters’ regular roster.

The 26-year-old Delos Santos suited up in his first game with his new team on Sunday, going scoreless in seven minutes of play but had two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the Fuel Masters’ 109-76 blowout of Titan Giant Risers.
Tiu admitted Delos Santos has been under the radar of Phoenix especially after he declined a Converge offer for a contract extension.
“Management has wanted him for a while,” the Phoenix coach related to SPIN.ph.
The Phoenix detour was a surprise for the 5-foot-11 guard, who was initially bound for the Ilagan Isabela Cowboys in the MPBL after he exited the FiberXers.

Nonetheless, Tiu said Delos Santos remains a work in progress as he pointed out the player is still not in his top form.
“He just need to get back in shape,” added the Phoenix head coach.
SPIN.ph tried to personally talk to Delos Santos about his move to Phoenix, but refused to expound on this latest career move.
“Yun na yun,” was all he said.
