THE Barangay Ginebra coaching staff headed straight to the hospital to check on the injury of sophomore guard Jeremiah Gray after the Gin Kings' win over the NLEX Road Warriors on Sunday night.
Stand-in coach Richard del Rosario is keeping his fingers crossed the knee injury suffered by Gray isn't too serious, although the initial prognosis point to a second ACL tear for the Ginebra guard.

Head coach Tim Cone, who took time out from his Gilas Pilipinas duty to watch Ginebra's PBA On Tour game against NLEX, rode with Gray in the ambulance as the Fil-Am guard was taken to the nearby Medical City.
"We're going to see him in the hospital to check on him," said Del Rosario after the Kings' 91-85 win. "Hopefully we'll get good news once they do the check up."

Gray twisted his knee as he was going for the basket on a fastbreak while trying to elude a trailing Tony Semerad with 22 seconds left in the third period.
He was stretchered out of the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, ironically, the same venue where he suffered an ACL injury while playing for TNT in the PBA 3x3 back in 2021.
The Kings won the game, 91-85.
"We're offering this to Miah. All prayers up for Miah," said Del Rosario after what he referred to as a 'freak accident.'
"Importante lang he gets better and he gets his knee checked. We're hoping for the best."
