Tenorio was met with a warm applause by fans when his name was called out as part of Ginebra's starting unit along with Maverick Ahanmisi, Christian Standhardinger, Jamie Malonzo, and import Tony Bishop.
Tenorio, 39, acknowledged the applause of the crowd by waving to the fans in his first game back since being diagnosed with colon cancer 10 months ago - and eventually beating the dreaded disease.

Among those at ringisde to welcome him back are wife Chesca and their kids, good friend Zanjoe Marudo, Sen. Bong Go, and former Ginebra teammates Mark Caguioa and Sol Mercado.
He hasn't played since February of this year when he was first diagnosed with the BIg C but looked like he never left.
Tenorio played 12 minutes in the first half, where he 0-for-3 from the field, but had two assists and a rebound. But he soon got going after halftime, hitting two three-pointers to kick-start Ginebra's offense, just like old times.
At the half, he was honored with a trophy to mark his league record of 744 consecutive games played which unfortunately, came to an end when he announced last February his health situation.
Tenorio was joined at centerstage by Commissioner Willie Marcial, Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua, PBA board vice-chairman Bobby Rosales and his family.
