BARANGAY Ginebra gave LA Tenorio a fitting welcome in his comeback game, coming in the form of a 110-99 win over Terrafirma in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Sunday at the Philsports Arena.
The Kings were in control for the most part and had an answer for every Terrafirma run in notching their fourth straight win and a 4-1 record overall.

It likewise brightened the mood in Tenorio's return to active duty after being declared cancer-free last September.
"It was great having LA back. He's such a warrior," said Ginebra coach Tim Cone of his long-time player.
Cone lined up Tenorio as part of his starting unit, and while the move got the Kings pumped up, the Dyip had other things in mind as sophomore Javi Gomez de Liano put the team on top after the first period, 29-25.
But that was the best Terrafirma could do as Tony Bishop and Japeth Aguilar teamed up to help the Kings outscore the Dyip, 28-14, in the second quarter and open an 11-point edge at the break.
It was all Ginebra from there.
Bishop finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds, Christian Standhardinger added 24 and 10 boards, and Aguilar chipped in 19 and seven rebounds for Ginebra, which missed the injured Scottie Thompson.
Terrafirma lost for the second straight game and fell to 2-4.
De Liano continued his consistent showing with 22 points and seven assists to lead the way for the Dyip, who also got 18 and 14 boards from import Thomas Hugo De Thaey.
