DID Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao snub Magnolia consultant Erick Arejola during the post-game handshake on Saturday night,
Not necessarily, said the RoS coach.
Videos of Guiao and Arejola's heated exchange during the two teams' PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup match went viral, as well as that of the traditional mid-court handshake at the end of the Elasto Painters' 91-82 victory.
WATCH:
From that vantage point, it looked like Guiao, indeed, immediately turned his back after shaking the hand of Magnolia coach LA Tenorio and avoided any pleasantries with Arejola or any other member of the Hotshots team.
However, astute SPIN.ph readers pointed out that it has long been the habit of the temperamental Rain or Shine coach to shake the hand of the rival coach and no one else during the post-game pleasantries.

We admit that has mostly escaped our eyes. But just to be sure, we asked the man himself. Here's his reply.
"True," Guiao told SPIN.ph, "except minsan [when] other members of the opposite team make an effort to shake my hand, and I accommodate them."
So there. As Guiao himself said in a succeeding interview, he and Arejola belong to the same PBA family where grudges are mostly settled. That shouldn't be hard, considering Arejola also happens to be one of the most friendly personalities in the league.
This grudge should be buried in no time.
