The ballclub also announced the signing on its Facebook page.
In his final year with the La Salle Green Archers, Winston averaged 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.1 steals, and was a prime candidate to win a UAAP MVP last year until he was slowed down by injuries.

A few mock drafts had Winston among top picks, but the former Central Michigan University player doesn’t mind.
“I was drafted where I was drafted. I’m happy that they drafted me and I’m ready to go and compete for them,” said Winston on draft day.
“I’m super excited to be drafted and hearing my name called. I’m very thankful. I’m very grateful that I got this opportunity to be out here.”
Winston said he is also excited to play especially after his preparations as well as his recovery from a calf injury.
“I was back in the States, finishing my rehab. And then, after finishing rehab, just getting my body back up to shape and performance to go out and compete again… I’m no longer hurt. I’m ready to compete. I’m ready to play now,” said Winston.
