CJ Catapusan is the latest rookie player signed by Terrafirma.
The Cebuano cager was given a two-year contract by the Dyip on Tuesday, joining freshmen Didat Hanapi and Paolo Hernandez in the team roster for the coming PBA Season 49.
Catapusan, 26, was Dyip's second round pick at no 15.
His signing was made possible after he was given release papers by his MPBL team Iloilo Royals team.
And for this, Catapusan was grateful to Iloilo United Royals team owner JJ Javelosa in making his PBA dream come true. Catapusan also thanked coaches MC Abolucion and Mac and Japs Cuan for their support for his career.
He is the second Iloilo player after CJ Cansino to be released by the team and give way for them to play in Asia's pioneering pro league.
Cansino also signed a two-year deal with Meralco the other day.
Terrafirma team manager Ronald Tubid attended the contract signing, witnessed by Catapusan's representative Charlie Dy of VP Global Management.
Catapusan, who suited up for University of the Philippines and briefly with Adamson, was also thankful to UP coaches Bo Perasol and Goldwin Monteverde, Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla, Robina Gokongwei, NWTGBU, UP management and community for their guidance during his collegiate career
