BARANGAY Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua did not hide his frustration over what he described as unnecessary meddling from Rain or Shine head coach Yeng Guiao in Game 4 of the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup semifinals.
“‘Yung team niya, ‘di ko pinapakialamanan eh. Pakialamanan niya ‘yung team niya. ‘Wag niyang pakialamanan ‘yung team namin,” Chua said after a hot-tempered game which Rain or Shine won, 97-85, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Guiao should 'stick to coaching,' the Ginebra governor added.
Tension between the longtime PBA figures started brewing as early as the first quarter, exchanging heated words from the sidelines stemming from what Guiao claimed were Chua actions that are meant to "intimidate the referees."
But the situation escalated further after the final buzzer, when the pair got into a heated verbal altercation during the traditional post-game handshakes at midcourt.

Guiao later addressed the incident in his postgame press conference, criticizing what he described as actions by the former Ginebra coach throughout the series that he claimed puts undue pressure on the game officials.
The longtime Rain or Shine coach also called for clearer boundaries between coaching staff and team officials on the sidelines.
Chua, however, was having none of it, telling Guiao to stop meddling on other people's business and just stick to coaching.
“[Siya] nakikialam, mga governors, pinapakialamanan,” Chua said. “Mag-trabaho na lang siya. Mag-coach na lang siya.”
