MERALCO's Chris Newsome on Saturday posted a video of a blindside hit by Prince Caperal against him during Game Two of the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals.
In the video, Newsome was seen being elbowed by the Barangay Ginebra big man from behind in a piece of action at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

The incident was just one of a several physical plays in the game that saw Barangay Ginebra defeating Meralco, 94-87, to force a Game Three.
Even prior to the game, a commotion occurred between Barangay Ginebra’s Christian Standhardinger and Meralco’s Franky Johnson during warm-ups.
Newsome also tweeted shortly after Game Two, although it was not clear whether it was related to the physicality of the match or pointing to a certain player.
The tweet will surely add color to the Ginebra-Meralco rivalry. Game Three will be played on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena with the winner advancing to the semifinals against San Miguel.
“Privilege making people brave! Beware of fake tough guys everywhere,” wrote Newsome.
