PSY WAR or spot on?
Whatever, veteran coach Yeng Guiao fired the first salvo as soon as word got around that the TNT Tropang 5G had brought in a legit NBA player, Bol Bol, as import for the midseason PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup.
"He will practically own the paint offensively and defensively," said the outspoken Rain or Shine coach of the six-year NBA veteran, who arrived on Wednesday. "It's like bringing a machine gun to a knife fight."
"It's unfair," he added.
LOOK: Bol Bol arrives to play for TNT in PBA
At 7-foot-3, the son of the late NBA player Manute Bol joins Puerto Rican PJ Ramos (Kia, 2014) as the tallest imports ever to play in the PBA.
His skills, however, are NBA level and far better than Ramos, which should make him tough to stop for other PBA teams - and a giant headach for league coaches.
"I have no idea yet," said NLEX coach Jong Uichico when asked how he plans to stop an import with Bol's size and skills.

Guiao is similarly stumped.
"Just the sheer height and length advantage he brings to the court is unmatched by any import this conference," Guiao said. "He also has legitimate guard skills and his NBA credentials are also unquestioned."
