BOL Bol has arrived in the country to join TNT as one of the tallest and most high-profile players to ever play in the PBA.
TNT posted photos of the former NBA player's arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport where he was welcomed by Tropang 5G team manager Jojo Lastimosa.
At 7-3, he should be the same height as PJ Ramos, the Puerto Rican import who played for Kia in the PBA under coach Manny Pacquiao in 2014.
The 26-year old Bol played for the Denver Nuggets from 2019 to 2022, the Orlando Magic from 2022 to 2023, and Phoenix Suns from 2023 to 2025 before joining TNT.
The American-South Sudanese, a second round draft choice and No. 44 overall pick by the Miami Heat, is the son of the late NBA player Manute Bol, one of the tallest to play in the league at 7-foot-6.

The forward out of Oregon averaged 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in his six NBA seasons - decent numbers but still underwhelming for a player of his height who is blessed with quickness and dexterity.
Bol had his best season in the NBA in 2022-23, producing 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.2 blocks at 21.5 minutes per through 33 games.
