BENNIE Boatwright's arrival in Manila was apparently faster than expected.
The returning San Miguel import posted on Instagram a photo of himself already in Manila, apparently taken from the top floors of the main headquarters of San Miguel Corporation in Pasig City.

San Miguel team manager Gee Abanilla said on Sunday that the team will try to bring in Boatwright as soon as possible after he finishes his exit interviews with Daegu Kogas, his former ballclub in the Korean Basketball League.
Abanilla also said Boatwright has already agreed in principle to become San Miguel's third import of the conference after Marcus Lee and Justin Patton.

The Beermen were forced to change their import again after Patton didn't show up for Sunday's game against Magnolia, forcing them to play all-Filipino.
The Beermen lost their second straight game in the contest against the Hotshots, 120-101.
