A TOTAL of 33 players picked in the PBA Season 48 Rookie Draft are now free agents after not receiving a tender offer from their teams.

This was after a total of 79 from a record number of 124 players were selected during the draft last September 17.

Initially, the list was at 34 but Patrick Maagdenberg, selected by Magnolia in the third round at No. 33, was later signed by Converge after becoming a free agent.

A total of 45 players, on the other hand, received tender offers, meaning that the teams that selected them now hold their rights.

Incidentally, the lowest player picked in the draft that got a tender offer was Kyt Jimenez, selected No. 76 by the Beermen.
