PAMPANGA beat Marikina, 82-70, on Friday night in Arwind Santos’ debut with the Giant Lanterns in the MPBL quarterfinals at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando.
Santos had four points and six rebounds in a starting role where he played for 13 minutes to help the the top seed Giant Lanterns take Game One of the best-of-three series.

Archie Concepcion had 26 points while Justin Baltazar grabbed 21 rebounds for Pampanga in the win.
Joe Gomez de Liano had 22 points for eighth seed Marikina.
Caloocan defeats Pasig
Gabby Espinas nailed the game-winning jumper with 0.7 seconds as No. 4 Caloocan Batang Kankaloo defeated No. 5 Pasig, 71-67, in Game One of their own quarterfinal tiff.
