LETRAN'S quest for redemption has taken another hit with Titing Manalili scratched from the Knights' roster for NCAA Season 100.
The league released the official rosters on Monday which had the name of the 6-foot Cebuano guard as the most glaring omission for the boys from Muralla.
No reason was disclosed for Manalili's absence, although coach Allen Ricardo stressed how tough of a blow his star playmaker's absence will be for Letran.
"Malaking bagay (si Manalili) kasi ang tagal ko na siyang kasama at kita naman natin yung impact niya sa loob kahit na rookie pa rin siya," he told Spin.ph.
Manalili was poised to be one of the staples for the Knights following his superb performances in the preseason leagues, as well as a stint with Strong Group Athletics in the 2024 Jones Cup.
It's the latest of the issues plaguing Letran even before the season's start with senior Pao Javillonar also facing eligibility problems following his brief appearance for Converge in the Kadayawan Cup.
