KAI Sotto dressed but was not fielded by Orlando in the Magic's NBA Summer League debut against the Detroit Pistons at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The 7-3 center was listed as a DNP-coach's decision for the game, which saw the Magic field 10 players led by first-round draft picks Anthony Black and Jett Howard.
The Magic lost, 89-78.

A sprinkling of Filipino fans showed up in the Vegas venue hoping to see Sotto play, with some chanting, 'Put Kai in' as the game progressed.
'Kai Sotto' also became a trending topic on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday.
Both sides played 10 players each but an NBA official told SPIN.ph there are no restrictions, meaning coaches are free to field any player from the Summer League roster at any point of the game.
The Magic's Summer League coach, Dylan Murphy, stayed with his nucleus that also included Kevon Harris, who was signed to a two-way contract a day before the Vegas showpiece.
Harris led the Magic with 21 points. Black, the No. 6 pick in the draft, added 17 points and five assists with seven turnovers while Howard finished with eight.
