ENZO Serrano just parted ways with the Pampanga Giant Lanterns.
But he's not returning to the PBA, and will still stay in the MPBL instead.
Sources close to the gutsy 6-foot guard disclosed to SPIN.ph that Serrano will now don the Abra Weavers jersey for the coming seventh season of the home-and-away regional league.

The Weavers have already signed the De La Salle product to a contract in a bold, off-season acquisition in their bid to contend for the province’s first-ever league championship.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although those privy to the signing declared it as a lucrative one.
Serrano was instrumental in the back-to-back title romps of the Giant Lanterns the past two MPBL campaigns, which included a first-round sweep of the Weavers in the Northern Conference playoffs last season.

The Pampanga player averaged 12.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in his final season with the Giant Lanterns, who swept the Quezon Huskers in the finals, 3-0, to become the first back-to-back champion in MPBL history.
Serrano is the latest Pampanga key player from last season to leave the team after PBA No. 1 overall pick Justine Baltazar, guard Kurt Reyson, and big man Brandon Ramirez.
The departure came amid speculations that team owner and champion coach Pampanga Gov. Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda will lie low in his involvement with the Giant Lanterns as the head-coaching job of Converge in the PBA beckons.
Baltazar is currently playing for the FiberXers, Reyson is with Meralco, and Ramirez with NLEX.
Serrano previously played for two seasons with Phoenix, before failing to come to terms with the franchise on a new deal when his rookie contract expired. He chose to play for Pampanga instead, although his PBA rights remains with Phoenix.
