KAI Sotto and the Adelaide 36ers kept their faint playoff hopes alive with a 99-96 away win over the Cairns Taipans in the NBL on Monday.
Antonius Cleveland scored 11 of his game-high 27 points in the final quarter to help the 36ers wipe away a double-digit deficit and snap a five-game losing streak.

But at 12-14 (win-loss), the 36ers no longer control their destiny, needing to win their final two games of the season and the Perth Wildcats losing theirs to stay in the playoff hunt.
Anything less than that and Adelaide will miss the postseason.
That would be unfortunate for Sotto, who has become a consistent presence in Adelaide's starting unit in his second season in Australia.
Against the Taipans, the 7-3 center scored 12 points in 12:49 minutes and could've played more if he didn't pick up his fourth foul early.
The Gilas Pilipinas mainstay went 4-of-5 from the field, hitting one three-point shot to go with two rebounds and one assist.
