"(Dwight Ramos is) a Filipino treasure that boasts a horse's physical ability to make any play possible. [We] can't take [our] eyes away from 'Saint Dwight' who fascinates [us] by playing and by just existing," the club said after Ramos' personal milestone.

Having played a single season for the Toyama Grouses in 2021, Ramos made the shift to Levanga Hokkaido where he had an average statline of 10 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in an injury-marred debut campaign for his new club.
And in his 103rd career game in the league, Ramos' 13-point outing in Hokkaido's 87-65 rout of his former club Toyama on Saturday morning (Manila time) steered him over the thousand-point mark.
Ramos succeeds fellow Gilas Pilipinas aces Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena as the only Division 1 Filipino players to reach the scoring milestone.
